Self-Drive Car Hire

Self-drive suits you if you know where you are going and would rather set your own hours. Most of our clients take a vehicle for a few days to a couple of weeks: a sedan for a stretch of city work, a Fortuner for a family trip, a double cab for something further off the tarmac.

Every vehicle goes out inspected, cleaned and with a documented condition check that we walk through with you at handover, so there is no argument about a scratch at the end. We go over the controls, the spare, the jack and who to call before you drive away.

Hire lengths run from a single day upwards. If you are staying longer than a month, our long-term rates work out considerably better than stacking up daily hire — talk to us before you book by the day.

What do I need to bring?

A valid driving licence, a form of identity, and the card or arrangement you are paying with. See our rental information page for the full handover checklist.

Can somebody else drive?

Yes, as long as they are named on the agreement before the hire starts and their licence is on file. Tell us at booking and we will add them.

Is there a mileage limit?

Mileage terms depend on the vehicle and the length of hire. We confirm them in writing with your quote, so you know before you commit.
