Long-Term Vehicle Rentals

Long-term hire is for people whose need has an end date but not a near one: a posting, a contract, a project phase, a stay while your own vehicle is being imported or repaired. Anything from a month upwards falls into it.

The arithmetic is straightforward. Daily rates are priced for the overheads of a short hire — the handover, the clean, the turnaround. Stack thirty of them together and you are paying for that thirty times over. A monthly rate prices the same vehicle once.

Against buying, you avoid the capital outlay, the import and registration process, the maintenance schedule, the insurance renewals and the question of what the vehicle is worth when you leave. Servicing and maintenance stay with us throughout.

Terms are month to month or fixed for an agreed period, and the vehicle can be swapped if your needs change — a sedan while you are in town, a double cab for a month in the field.

Practical questions

What is the minimum period?

Long-term rates start at one month. Shorter than that is quoted as weekly or daily hire.

Who pays for servicing?

We do. Scheduled servicing, maintenance and insurance are part of the arrangement. Fuel and traffic fines are yours.

Can I change vehicles partway through?

Usually yes, subject to availability. It is a common request and we would rather move you into the right vehicle than have you in the wrong one for three months.
